St. Cloud Capital is a Los Angeles-based private investment firm founded in 2001 to provide debt and equity growth capital to the U.S. lower middle market, typically into companies with annual revenues between $10 million and $150 million and with EBITDA of less than $10 million. St. Cloud has investments in companies across a wide range of industries and in every layer of the capital structure, including senior secured debt, subordinated debt, and preferred and common stock. St. Cloud typically invests between $5 million and $20 million in non-control situations, acting as both a financial and strategic partner to strong management teams and industry entrepreneurs in fulfilling their long-term growth plans.

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate / Vice‐President role, depending on experience, with St. Cloud will include the following responsibilities:

• Evaluating new investment opportunities, including financial modeling, industry research, site visits, and interviewing management teams
• Conducting due diligence and communicating findings to team
• Drafting of investment memorandums
• Portfolio company management
• Investor communication and presentations
• Involvement in deal sourcing
• Supporting fundraising efforts

Qualifications

3-7 years’ experience, including investment banking, consulting, finance, restructuring, commercial lending, and/or operations.

• Strong academic record
• Organizational skills
• Financial modeling skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
