Exclusively for Venture Funds & Limited Partners interested in the SBIC Accrual Program
On Thursday, April 25, the Small Business Investor Alliance is hosting an exclusive opportunity in Salt Lake City for venture funds and limited partners to learn more about the Accrual Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) fund model along with local hosts Ally Bank and Pelion Venture Partners.
This new investment opportunity was created in August 2023 when the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) implemented significant reforms to the SBIC program. Designed to support longer-term equity investments, Accrual SBICs are leveraged funds, however the debenture does not require semi-annual interest payments. Accrual SBICs are eligible for 1.25 leverage from SBA. Pelion was awarded the first Accrual SBIC license in December 2023.
Please reach out to Stephanie McAlaine, Chief Membership Officer, to request an invitation to this event and to learn more about the Lower Middle Market Dinner Series, SBIA’s new event series focused on bringing together select groups of senior-level private equity professionals for intimate dinners carefully curated to facilitate valuable business connections.
