CapitaLinx, SBIA's unique fundraising opportunity that utilizes a unique, strategic General Partner/Limited Partner (GP/LP) matchmaking platform, is held twice a year — in April during SBIA's West Coast Capital Summit and in October during the National Summit for Middle Market Funds. Unlike speed networking offered by other conferences, at CapitaLinx:

• Meetings are held for 25 minutes, making them both efficient and productive.
• Meeting selections are made by limited partners (LPs) via a robust, confidential database. 
  • Selections are based on fund profiles submitted by general partners (GPs), ensuring that there is already an interest in a fund's team and investment strategy going into a meeting.
• No additional fee* is required to participate, but CapitaLinx participation requires additional steps to set up a fund's firm profile. *Please note, GPs planning to fundraise at CapitaLinx for a Fund-in-Formation must be SBIA Members to participate in CapitaLinx.

CapitaLinx attracts a wide range of potential investors — from family offices to foundations and endowments to insurance companies, fund of funds and banks — as well as high quality funds representing a diverse range of geographies and investment strategies that include:

• Buyout, Growth Equity, Mezzanine/Credit, Venture Capital & Venture Debt.
• Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds, Rural Business Investment Company (RBIC) funds, Business Development Company (BDC) funds and conventional funds.
