Accrual SBIC Regulations Training Class 

SBIA's Accrual SBIC Regulations Training Class is a one-day program designed specifically for fund managers operating or forming Accrual SBICs. It will be held September 9 in Washington, DC.

The class covers the same regulatory ground as our standard SBIC Regulations Training — licensing, sources of funds, qualifying and structuring investments, conflicts of interest, and managing a licensed fund — but with focused discussion of how those regulations apply to Accrual SBICs. Attendees will also have time to network and strategize with peers managing the same fund structure, and to put Accrual-specific questions directly to SBA staff and faculty.

What's included for Accrual attendees

The day before the class, SBIA will host two additional sessions:

• A meet-and-greet with SBA's licensing team, offering one-on-one time in a confidential setting
• Roundtable discussions on issues specific to Accrual SBICs, including how to position the structure to LPs and how the waterfall mechanics affect investment decisions

Registration is limited to two participants per firm.

CANCELLATIONS
The deadline for a cancellation with a full refund is Friday, August 14, 2026. Registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to SBIA via email. You may transfer your registration to another member of your firm; however, your registration is non-transferable to registrants outside of your firm. SBIA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. No walk-ins permitted.
