Vita is a telemental health platform specializing in suicide care and adolescents. Vita leverages its proprietary technology and treatment protocols with specially trained clinicians, including suicidologists, to treat and support patients on their mental health journey. It delivers therapy and psychiatry services through pediatrician referrals, healthcare payors and providers, as well as institutions such as universities and corporations needing solutions for their populations.

Co-founded by Lynn Hamilton and Seth Feuerstein, it is the first provider of a clinically validated suicide prevention solution through innovative care management. Vita’s care pathways are based on successful clinical trials published in JAMA, The American Journal of Psychiatry and thousands of patient encounters demonstrating reductions in suicide attempts by more than 60% and deaths by up to 80%.

The $22.5M Series A funding will support the rapid expansion of Vita’s life-saving services nationwide. Investors alongside LFE Capital include Athyrium Capital Management, Flare Capital Partners, CVS Health Ventures, CU Healthcare Innovation Fund, and Connecticut Innovations.
