Brookside Capital Partners has announced its subordinated debt and preferred equity co-investment in Winterberry Landscaping, LLC, a portfolio company of Gemini Investors, to facilitate its acquisition of Willie C. & Sons Landscaping.

Founded in 1985 and based in Southington, CT, Winterberry provides a full range of landscaping services to commercial and residential customers in the Northeast. The Company has also developed a reputation as a leading provider of irrigation installation and replacement services to golf courses across the United States.  Founded in 2004, Willie C. provides lawn maintenance and snow removal services in the greater Portland, Maine area.
