Head of Investor Relations

As the Head of Investor Relations, you will assume a pivotal role in planning, directing, and coordinating the firm's fundraising and investor relations activities. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivating, and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and prospective LPs, overseeing investor communications, and taking the lead in organizing significant LP-related events, including the Annual General Meeting.

This role is remote/work from home, as the entire firm is fully remote, but some travel will be required for team retreats, LP meetings and LP and consultant prospect meetings, industry conferences and various other business-related events.

Requirements:

* Experience in fundraising, with a proven track record raising private credit capital, preferably for a woman-led and/or diverse manager fund

* A deep network in the investor ecosystem and successful track record of raising capital from the institutional and family office channels

* Passion for building relationships and networking at a professional and personal level

* A professional, fun, and friendly personality with a hands-on, "no task is too big or too small" attitude

Episodic:

  • Lead and drive the process of raising fund and co-investment capital
  • Coordinate with operations and investment teams to prepare marketing and due diligence materials including a comprehensive DDQ while       driving the due diligence process with prospective investors including managing the firm’s data room
  • Work with general counsel on fund formation matters (e.g. LPA, PPM, etc.)
  • Assist with ad hoc projects associated with strategic initiatives, business development and building the firm
  • CRM Management?
  • Work with general counsel to ensure the firm maintains compliance with marketing regulations and guidelines

Normal Course:

  • Regularly communicate with and build deep relationships with existing and prospective new investors
  • Lead the production of quarterly and annual investor communications such as quarterly and annual investor letters as well as LP-focused   events such as the Annual General Meeting
  • Create external-facing investor update and fundraising presentations, news releases, blog posts, and other communication materials
  • Assist in developing and mapping out new fund strategies
  • Create and edit marketing and investor materials for co-investment opportunities
  • Assisting with various organizational and strategic projects

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in fundraising, with a proven track record raising capital for private equity, private credit, or venture capital funds
  • A deep network in the global institutional investor ecosystem and successful track record of raising capital from the institutional and family office  channels
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-undergraduate work experience in the financial industry, with particular experience in private equity and/or private credit investing and/or with limited partners in these type of funds
  • Problem solver with ability to research solutions and suggest resolutions
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance, including debt and equity capital structures, private alternative investing universe, and corporate finance
