Description

As the Independent Sponsor community grows both in size and impact, there are a growing number of executives transitioning from private equity to the independent sponsor/deal-by-deal model. Doing so allows for greater involvement and control in each deal and the ability to benefit from greater financial incentives – with the flexibility of a more tailored approach to investments. However, starting isn’t easy – the initial work to raise capital and ramp-up time needed to start reaping financial gains are not without risk.
